Rules and regulations for using notebase.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using our note-sharing and marketplace platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you do not have permission to access the service.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be legally capable of entering contracts under your local laws. You are responsible for account credentials and activity under your account.
3. Content & Conduct
You are solely responsible for your content. You must not upload unlawful, harmful, or infringing material. We may remove or restrict content/accounts for policy, legal, or security reasons.
4. IP and License
You retain ownership of your content. You grant notebase a non-exclusive license to host, process, and display your content for service operation. You must have rights to what you upload.
5. DMCA/Copyright Complaints
Copyright owners may submit notices at DMCA Notice. Repeated infringement may result in account suspension or termination.
6. Marketplace & Transactions
When purchasing premium notes, all sales are final. Creators receive 90% of the sale price, while the platform retains a 10% fee. Payouts are processed upon request, subject to our withdrawal policies and anti-fraud checks.
7. Taxes and Compliance
Users/creators are responsible for taxes and compliance obligations applicable to them. Platform may collect and report information where legally required.
8. Privacy and Data Rights
Your use is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Data rights requests can be submitted via Data Requests.
9. Liability & Warranties
The service is provided "as is". We make no warranties regarding the accuracy or reliability of any notes shared by users. We shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damages resulting from your use of the platform.
10. Termination
We may suspend/terminate accounts for legal, security, abuse, payment, or policy reasons. You may delete your account via profile settings.
11. Governing Law
Applicable law and venue depend on your operating entity and jurisdiction configuration. Production deployments should replace this placeholder with final legal counsel-approved terms.
